Boğaziçi University Vis Moot Team Visits Faculty Dean

The Boğaziçi University Vis Moot Team paid a visit to our Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Ali Emrah Bozbayındır, following their participation in the 33rd Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.

The team was composed of Abdulkadir Yıldırım, Sare Karakoç, Mehmet Fatih Hacıoğlu, Kerem Berat Özyürür, and Aslı Müge Öztürk, and coached by Dr. Ömer Erkut Bulut and Dr. Zeynep Ülkü Kahveci Rodop.

During the preparation phase, the team participated in the Istanbul Pre-Moot, hosted by Istanbul Bilgi University and Paksoy Law Firm, before representing our university in Vienna.

As part of the Vis Moot, which is one of the most prestigious international arbitration competitions in the world, our team underwent an intensive preparation period lasting several months. Throughout this process, our students prepared written submissions in the field of international commercial law and arbitration, and delivered a strong performance during the oral hearings in Vienna.

During the visit, team members shared their experiences from the Vis Moot, the challenges they encountered, and the skills they acquired with our Dean, and exchanged views on future competitions.
