Prof. Dr. Ali Emrah Bozbayındır Speaks at 2nd Michele Taruffo Girona Evidence Week in Spain

Our esteemed Dean, Prof. Dr. Ali Emrah Bozbayındır, participated as an invited speaker at the 2nd Michele Taruffo Girona Evidence Week, held in Girona, Spain, from June 2 to 6, 2025. The event brought together distinguished scholars and legal professionals from some of the world's leading law schools to discuss current developments in the law of evidence.

Prof. Bozbayındır contributed to the workshop titled "European Perspectives on Negotiated Justice", where he delivered a speech titled "The Expedited Adjudication Procedure in Turkish Criminal Procedure" ("Türk Ceza Muhakemesinde Seri Muhakeme Usulü"). The workshop, which examined the rise of negotiated procedural methods in Europe, featured renowned professors such as Thomas Weigend (University of Cologne), Mike McConville (Chinese University of Hong Kong), Luke Marsh (Chinese University of Hong Kong), Giulia Lasagni (University of Bologna), Jacopo Della Torre (University of Genoa), Michele Caianiello (University of Bologna), Mitja Gialuz (University of Genoa), and Wojciech Jasiński (University of Wrocław).
